Black is beautiful, who has not heard that saying? Always wanting to be in the know about the latest skin care products, make-up brands, the “brown sugars” worldwide are ready to invest in the enhancement of their natural beauty. A change in hairstyle is a normal beauty routine. Men are not left behind as they too are getting more interested in fashion, hair and skin care.
It is thus impossible to accept the fact that this part of the population is still finding it difficult to get the products catering specifically for them and that the cosmetics world is only shyly looking at the afro customers.
With an estimated population of about 3 million people, the black community in France, composed of Africans, Afro-Caribbean (Caribbean), French of African descent and mestizo, displays habits important for many groups. With spending on average 9 times higher than in Caucasian women than cosmetics, the market is in a strong trend (14.7 million euros).
It is as a solution to this problem that Marina MARVILLE, true to its ethnic engagement, is launching Beauty Color & Beauty Color Natt’urel, a black beauty fair. The Beauty Color & Beauty Color Natt’urel fair will bring together various sections of afro-ethnic beauty and fashion at the FREYSSINET HALL to Paris from the 14nd -19thDecember 2011.
120 – 150 professionals from France and abroad will be present for a diverse program: workshops on hair and make-up, discussions on black beauty, fashion shows and other surprises. An event sure to attract beauty addicts eager to be at the forefront of such events.
