Presentation Techniques
In my Presentation Techniques class, I learned how to render with markers and pencil. Learned how to create texture and depth in furniture and in floorplans. These renderings are to show process and development in marker and pencil techniques.
This render is done in pencil using three different colors. Starting at the left it hatching, cross hatching, and the right is scribbled.
This render is done in marker using three colors of marker. Value is shown through the use of layers of one marker.
Renderings of Materials
Marker would be used as the first layer and pencil on top to give texture.
The next seven sheets are one project to convey the use of markers and pencils in a presentation of one floorplan.
Sheet 1 - Adjacency Matrix showing the importance and relationship to the rooms
Sheet 2 - Criteria that needs to be met in the space
Sheet 3 - Bubbles shows the rooms and relationship to one another
Sheet 4 - Stage Block shows basic layout of the floor plan
Sheet 5 - Block diagram shows the traffic flow and how person would navigate in the space
Sheet 6 - This block shows more detail including the stairs, doors, kitchen countertop, and where the fireplace would be.
Sheet 7 - Preliminary plan to show material and finishes including the tile, carpet, and wood flooring.
