Assignment: Cyber Security Awareness Advert
Title: Social Media Impersonation
Emotional content in advertising can evoke feelings, such as happiness, fear, nostalgia, or empathy, that resonate with viewers. When individuals connect with an ad on an emotional level, it can leave a lasting impression and increase the likelihood of a positive response, whether it's purchasing a product, signing up for a service, or supporting a cause.

Creating a 30-second awareness video for BruCERT's "Secure Verify Connect" program can be a powerful way to inform the public about critical internet safety and information security issues.

The act of creating a false or fraudulent online presence or profile on social media platforms, when a person or entity poses as someone else, usually with the intention of misleading, defrauding, manipulating, or harming others, is known as social media impersonation. This can entail fabricating an online persona by exploiting another person's name, images, contact information, or other distinguishing characteristics. The impostor may copy the behaviors, communications, or interactions of the person or organization they are impersonating, which could lead to misunderstandings or compromise the real person or business's reputation and privacy. Impersonating someone on social media can be used for a number of things, such as distributing false information, cyberbullying, identity theft, and fraud.
