This marks my second book with the Harper Collins UK imprint “ Big Cat/ Little Wandle” and it was such a joy to work on owing in no small part to my absolute love of history and pirates. I also got the opportunity to play a lot more with how I chose to approach a composition, from making a world map to show various pirating hot spots to a scrapbooking approach for the pirate in question’s “about me” I experimented a lot with how I defined an illustrative page and I appreciated having the space and the chance to do that,
