Evil Empire Yankees at risk of first winning season in 30 years
The New York Yankees are in danger of breaking their 30-year-old record for winning seasons.

As of Thursday, the Yankees are 60-58, barely hanging on to a .500 record.

Add to that the fact that they may miss the playoffs for the first time since 2016.

The Yankees haven't had a winning season since 1992, when they won 76 games and lost 86. The Yankees' 30 consecutive winning seasons are the second-longest in MLB history, behind only the Yankees' 39 consecutive winning seasons from 1926-64.

"Obviously, we need wins," manager Aaron Boone said after a late-game loss to the Miami Marlins, CBS Sports reported. We need to stack the wins," Boone said after the loss, according to CBS Sports.

The Yankees are 6-10 since Aaron Judge returned from a toe injury and 24-33 in their last 57 games.

CBS Sports said, "They've been a mediocre team all season and worse than mediocre lately. Outside of Jersey and Gerrit Cole, they have no impact players." That's because high-profile 먹튀검증 veterans like Giancarlo Stanton and DJ LeMahieu are underperforming, and players who were expected to contribute are also underperforming, CBS noted.

It went on to say that despite the team's many obvious problems, general manager Brian Cashman will still be leading the Yankees in 2024 for his 27th year.

"The Yankees have not had a losing season under Cashman, but the current roster needs to be shaken up," the report said.
