Web Site & Application Interface Design

Web Design by Josh Nieten
Website and Application Interface Design & Branding
I have been a web designer and online entrepreneur for 18 years now. Before my entry into the field of Instructional Design, I did freelance web design and branding development for many clients, but I also built several web-based businesses for myself. EQUIP2SURVIVE is the most current example of this kind of work of mine and can be seen at equip2survive.com.

One of my earliest web design and online entrepreneurship endeavors was Camp Kitsch, an online store for 100% custom ironic t-shirts. I designed and developed a 700+ page store with a complex AJAX based shopping cart and merchant account. The shopping cart allowed users to choose from a variety of options including shirt style, shirt size, shirt color, and customizable message. I also designed hundreds of shirt designs with humorous ironic designs on them, and produced the vast majority of these shirts by hand myself. I did have some help from my wonderful supportive wife.

I also took advantage of 4 years of experience with search engine optimization and employeed a 100% feee marketing strategy of pursuing high ranking organic listings with the major search engines. This strategy resulted in over 100,000 hits to the site per month.

Below are a few examples of my web design and application interface design work.
