A continuation of my earlier exploration of the visual vocabulary of the pulp era, this personal project imagines pulp novel covers from various decades. The art is based on photographic prompts from the "Daily Drawing Challenge" page on Facebook—well most of it—in some cases I added visual elements based on photographs from other sources to build fuller visual narratives. The art is created in Photoshop, Procreate and Fresco. The type is created in InDesign and Illustrator.
