I took this image of Scheveningen waterfront because it invoked a sense of nostalgia in me. In Ireland, we have less waterfront piers and the only place I would see images like this would be through the media of television or film. 

Because of this I coloured the photo in the way I felt would show a bygone era of 1960s seaside visits with film grain and teal blues. 

I don't know if I would have prepared differently for this shoot, apart from arriving a little earlier if possible. Because the drone is a little more obvious than a handheld camera, I wanted to be ahead of the crowds and capture the early morning light.
