Hanko Dan
Japanese letterpress rubber stamp
A hanko is the personal stamp that everybody has to sign documents in Japan.
I made my western version of a hanko for Dan Highwood.
I laser cut a rubber stamp to have clean thin lines in the stamp.
Then I cut, sanded, dyed, waxed and glazed a wooden cylinder. Lastly, I stuck the stamp on the cylinder.
