Analysis of a play Crna Mati Zemla and a few versions of first poster concept for Z/K/M.

Five-year-old Matija, taking phrases such as "father is up there, he hasn't gone and can see you" literally, starts searching for him and eventually develops a mental disorder because of it. As an adult, Matija will invent events from his childhood until he reaches the trigger of repressed memories, in order to fill a terrifying void.

The death of his father, his projections of fear personified in the monsters Hešt and Pujt, suicides mentioned in the prologue, pedophilia, and many other dark and disturbing situations are witnessed a play Crna Mati Zemla.

"When you're very young, you are one person. Later on, you pretend to be two, then three, and so on until you grow up. I was many children, but there was only a little bit of childhood in me."

To translate this story into a poster, I took an old picture of me (being mad after not getting the toy I wanted for Christmas😬) as a main motive for the design.
