Literally about the heart. Typographic experiment

“Literally about the heart” is a project that was completed during
the typography course at The National Academy of Visual Arts
and Architecture in Kyiv.
The aim of the project was to illustrate twelve facts about
the human heart using only typography.
The project was curated by Svitlana Koshkina.
"The human heart is approximately the size of a person's clenched fist"
"One in every thousand people has a heart on the right side"
"If you combine the time between heartbeats throughout a person's lifetime, it will amount to approximately 20 years"
"All organs of the human body influence the heart"
"The heart of a pregnant woman beats twice as fast as the heart of the embryo"
"During choral singing, the heartbeats of the performers synchronize"
"Aortic insufficiency can lead to temporary pulsation of the pupils"
"The human heart pumps approximately 600 liters of blood every day"
"The heart is the only organ that generates electrical energy"
"The heart rounds up by 10 percent in a state of weightlessness."
"The heart of an embryo develops earlier than other organs."
"The heart works tirelessly throughout the entire human lifespan."
Thank you for watching!
