The brief was to create a cover for the book what a carve up. This was for the what a carve up competition by Pengiun.
These were some of my ideas for the font cover.
Book cover final ideas:
I wanted my book cover to stand out so i wanted a palin background to make the image to stand out more to the user.
My Final Design:
In my final design i used a mirrors to show that what you see is not what other people see as in the book the family is upper class but has a dark side by being arms dealing to art dealing. I used the colour red to show the violence which goes on in the book. I added in the rose to represent england, i chanced the colour of teh rose to blue as the time of the book the goverment was conservative and use the colour blue.
