THE LITTLE MERMAID (2023)

A paper-cut illustration featuring Ariel from the Disney live-action film, The Little Mermaid. I used different kinds of paper in producing this illustration. I used watercolor papers, tracing paper, construction paper and recycled cardboards. In coloring, I used gouache, colored pencils and acrylics. For some details such as the shadows on her face and locks, I used colored pencils. For the background I used plain acrylic paint but for the sheen on her scales, I used metallic acrylic paints. For the majority of the illustration, I used gouache.
