The owner of the building found me through some google searching and came across the murals I painted for Top Golf, Tullahoma and Robins Insurance. They were looking to cover the entire face of the building, to transform the space off the busy parkway and bring more interest to public art in Huntsville. The building is such a cool shape (concave) and has natural square grids, so I really wanted to paint this one. I worked on balancing greyscale with a good amount of color weaving throughout the composition, playing with the buildings shape (concave) and also playing with the naturally squared grid made from square brick tiles.
This was an absolute dream project, working with someone that understands the process, not giving too much direction and letting me freestyle as I sculpted this piece out. I love this palette and love how this one came out.
