For "Star Wars" day, (May 4th 2023), I did a retro propaganda empire poster. I was inspired by a 2022 stream, by Andrew Hochradel, with Brady from the Texturelab. 

The stream is called: "Designing Star Wars Themed Propaganda Posters with Brady from Texturelabs - 2 of 2" and it's incredible. 

The poster is mostly Hard Mix blending mode, as well as a few half-tone effects patterns enhanced with boxed blur. The font used for the slogan is "Interstate". 

The slogan "Join the force today" is a word play with the force as Stromtroopers and the force as "The Force" used by Jedi knights. I like the idea, the Empire would use this wording to get new recuits. 

It was great fun making this retro propaganda poster. Maybe there will be more to come. Who knows?
