Memorial Site Platform w/ E-Commerce

The Business
The Life Celebrant (TLC) is a funeral parlour service.
The Problem
TLC was looking to create a system that would allow them to create online memorials for the family members with an integrated e-commerce aspect. This platform would facilitate the planning of funeral services, all while adding value to the family members.
The Process
Though a general brief of the project was given, a well defined scope was lacking. Through a series of questions with stakeholders and project managers, I was able to obtain some information. This information needed to be group together using affinity mapping in order to have a clearer picture of the system that needed to be built, how it would be used, and who the main users would be at different stages of the funeral process.

Using the Lean UX Canvas model I attempted to fill in the gaps in order to understand the scope of the project on a deeper level.
With these tools I was able to suggest the flow of the platform and formulate how the platform should take shape for the different users.
Low fidelity iterations of the admin dashboard.
Screens from final draft of the admin flow in high fidelity.
Below are high fidelity screens that were not used in the final production.
From The Life Celebrant's corporate colors, a design system was created by expanding the color palette, and web based fonts were suggested to be used for the platform.
Below are the high fidelity design layout options for the front page.
At the time of developing this project, there were no direct competitors in the market for a similar system and platform. The entire admin platform and web page system was an amalgam of various systems that had to fit with a user's mental model without any prior onboarding.
Thank you!
