I was working on PGF Trajanite project for over 10 years (since March 2013 until few weeks ago, March 2023) to out in your hands a simple minimalistic Roman Sans typeface to favor a more universal use that finally its first public version is already available.

To grant you the standard of our foundry this design process was a really long trip, starting with trustful documentation source about classic trajan letters there're on the Trajan Column better known as “Capitalis Monumentalis”, letterform drawings were defined over the base of elemental geometric shapes guided by circle/square schemma with X and V-shape diagonals, simple and double root five proportions, early ideas based on the golden ratio. Lowercase have more organic but yet balanced proportions with short ascenders/descenders stems allowing more air to flow between textlines. Both (capitals and lowercases) passed through by endless and exhaustive typographic reviews and optical refinement, the process finally lands over an extensive spacing work and tests to deliver you a the most pleasant reading experience and more clean looking or minimalistic while sophisticated design. an font design that we can offer you.

PGF Trajanite result in versatile typeface perfectly suitable for your branding, packaging, label design, UI Interface design. Includes standard and discretionary ligatures, alternate glyphs, oldstyle numers, various numerical arrangements. Altogether you will find this a very clean, fashionable, and elegant typeface.
