"Chatbot LAZ" is my school project aimed at enhancing the user experience on E-commerce platforms. Divided into three phases—research, ideation, and testing—it focuses on streamlining the journey from product discovery to purchase.

Key insights
With increasingly busy schedules, people turn to e-commerce platforms for time-saving purchases at competitive prices. However, the inability to physically inspect products poses challenges, particularly with issues like measurements and appearance.
Online shoppers often fear overspending due to the convenience of one-click purchases and deferred payment options.
Ideation
Laz the lion
"Laz the Lion" is a chatbot designed to help you stick to your budget while shopping on Lazada. It ensures all items are purchased within budget, saving you time and money.
Simply list the items you desire and set a budget for Laz to adhere to. Laz will compile your selections along with similar options for your consideration. After tallying the total and indicating any savings or exceedances, you can effortlessly proceed by clicking "add to cart" to complete your purchase.
3D visualisation
3D visualisation enhances the user experience by allowing them to accurately assess how a product will fit and appear within their designated space. This feature reduces the likelihood of inconvenient returns or refund issues, streamlining the purchasing process.
At the top right of selected items, users can access the 3D visualisation function. Within this feature, users can specify the color and placement of the product. Red indicates an incompatible location, while green signifies compatibility. When positioned, the item displays its true colors, facilitating accurate visualisation.

After careful comparison, "Laz the Lion" chatbot emerges as the superior function to assist most shoppers. To enhance its appeal and efficacy, animation of the function was developed, along with the creation of a short video advertisement to effectively communicate its benefits and functionality to users.
