The Temasek aviation academy(TAA) is one of Singapore’s largest aviation and aerospace institutes.
Specialized in training labs and airports and airline operations, the institute serve as a collaborative research ground and a training/education compound to facilitate the course of study for aerospace students.

The project aims to repurpose and revitalise the academy, to construct an inclusive learning environment for all.

C O N C E P T
Through fragmentation and abstraction of aircraft forms, the volume of space evokes ideas of aircraft forms, celebrating evolution of aerospace industry , the space also invites visitant to reflect upon the possibilities of future aerospace industry.
The connector is the primary design of the space to translate the idea of drawing connections to other floors. Designed with steel grates as the walking platform to contrast with surrounding concrete yet compliments the humble tone and ambience of the space while emphasizing on the architectural form it manifest.
Overlooking the Bedok park view, an integrated learning space- Skylab is dedicated for aviation students, a combined learning space for aviation management, electronic and mechanics
