Project Description: 'Space Urchin' is inspired by the biological form, anatomy and communal herds of sea urchins. The project imagines the starport as an interplanetary infrastructure through 3 principle ecologies: ‘Resilient Skin Ecology’, ‘Space Junk Ecology’ and ‘Herd Ecology’. Envisioned as a multidecade project, it assembles multiple independent micro-components over an extensive timeframe culminating in an expanded community of infrastructural-starports.

Elective Description: The elective explored questions and potential contributions of worlding polemics, emerging gaming and contemporary media techniques, software and processes - for architectural design, pedagogy and future practice.
