Ateneo Project for Asian and International Relations

Logo redesigned for SY 2013-2014

The Ateneo Project for Asian and International Relations (APAIR) is a student organization of the Ateneo de Manila University that is committed to fostering global communication, greater cooperation and discourse among future leaders and the wider community at large. The challenge we pose is summed up in the tagline, "The world is talking, join the conversation."

I have spent my whole college life a part of this organization and I am glad to have imparted myself to them through building the APAIR image. The following are my best works as an officer in the Integrated Marketing Communications Department.

In Transition: 8th National Conference 2012
APAIR's flagship project is the National Conference, where speakers from diverse fields come to the Ateneo campus to share their throughts and ideas on society. High school and college students from the whole country as well are invited over to listen in and discourse.

SCHOOL YEAR 2012-2013
It has been planned that there be a linear three-part story to these promos of the first three projects, in order to give our members something consistent and creative to follow, as in the Integrated Marketing Communications concept.

Recruitment Week 2012
Every beginning of the year brings in new students and the anticipated opportunity to join college organizations. This happens during the recruitment week, a fair of sorts, of which its attendees get to know more about each org and feel how much they belong. Given this, APAIR decided to give the seriousness of the org a twist--that is, translated to the exciting concept of being an agent on a mission.
Episode 1. Coming before Recruitment Week was this video shown during the freshmen's orientation seminar, in order to show them what the org was about.
Episode 2. Following the first, this episode was the main Recruitment Week promotion video.

Episode 3. After recruitment comes assembly, and as seen in the video, this is to promote the first General Assembly.

First General Assembly 2012
Following the recruitment stages to the organization, members ought to know and mingle with each other and of course, be educated about what the org was about. The theme was being invited to their first mission.

First General Assembly and Game Night 2013
HBO's Game of Thrones was very trendy at this time, and it was decided to engage interest and camaraderie in the first general assembly and game night through a similar theme that played with the concept of opposites, as seen below.

Leadership Summit 2013
Social networking is undoubtedly one of the key components of the generation today. Given its multi-faceted role in society, APAIR chose a theme to take advantage of the best it can do: empowerment.
First General Assembly and Game Night 2013
