As I did more and more portrait drawings throughout my life, I developed such a love for everyone's noses. I have questioned whether art is the right path for me, as is natural, but noticing how much the shadows that I see in my everyday life stand out to me and how I want to draw the nose of every person I see affirms that I am doing the right thing and makes me appreciate how my mind works. My purpose for drawing this is because of exactly these things, my love for the shadow and the nose.
