Working at Right Angle gave me a lot of opportunities to work on some great projects; including COVA's new Eco friendly candle packaging. COVA had already come to RA to establish a more impactful logo, adjusting the kerning and weight of the serifed type face. The flower symbol was crafted using the COVA 'C' to add dimension to the brand.
The client wanted something eye-catching and bold but still couture; that could stand out on the shelves against other competitive candle retailers. The concepts we came up with included creating a repetitive patten of the 'flower' symbol in different opacities, taking influence from designer brands like Louis Vuitton. The COVA 'flower' symbol is the key to the design, helping the customer recognises the brand by reusing the 'flower' creates an eye-catching interest by adjusting the placement on the packaging.
