Zeca Camargo | Virtual Exhibition
This illustration was part of a virtual exhibition organized by Brazilian journalist and TV host Zeca Camargo.
He invited me to create an art that symbolized a new era for Brazil, with the change of government in January 2023 and the departure of the extreme right from power.
54 artists from all over the country participated.
My inspiration came from a song by the singer-songwriter known as Gonzaguinha, called “Redescobrir” (Rediscover, in the English translation). The lyrics talk about being reborn from your own strength, your own light and faith.
