I was invited to participate in this anthology book which attempted to depict an illustrated history of Black lives in America, the book came about during the summer of 2020 during the heights of the Black Lives Matter protests and features work from many industry artists from illustrators to animators.

In my piece I set out to illustrate how the successes of black women that came before paved the path for the black women of today to succeed. It is through the doors that they opened that the rest of us have been able to achieve great things.
