Youth Activism Posters
The brief involved producing posters around the theme of Youth Activism.
The first poster addresses an 'act of resistance' in the form of the 2010 Student Protest in London. It also aims to communicate that we are not a 'lost generation' but a generation that uses social media to discuss social and political issues and try make a change.
The second poster addresses the feminist picnic protest held recently on Londons underground. The banana can be seen in two ways, this is the main food the ladies bought with them for the picnic or a crude idiom where eating is seen as something sexual but women are 'owning it' and taking back control.
