EXHIBIT A.

I'm not sure how I feel about the text fonts in this commercial, but this is the prime example for how to structure this project
What I like: the bombast, the flashy visuals, the obnoxious effects. The low quality.
What I don't like, the fonts, the color scheme (hot pinks)
EXHIBIT B.

This and video Exhibit a. are the prime examples to draw from for how to structure this project. If you need a blueprint, these two are it.
The late 90's was a time when everything was both washed out and over-saturated. It's a strange mix, but I'd love that to be captured in the intro.
Example of an orgy video I like. Over-exposed, certain colors pop in very strange ways. Looks like everything is sitting under florescent tubes.
Still image of a logo from this era, annotated to give a clear idea of what I'm looking for.
Still from Exhibit B.

Be sure to dissolve to a screen like this before cutting out. We don't have our own hotline, so just grab the number off this still and utilize that.
^ IMPORTANT: Note the scratchy graphic under the text. They loved that grungy faux-film scratch look back then (a la 'Fight Club')

NU METAL ALBUM COVERS
I feel they capture the vibe of this time pretty well.
Pond5 Clips and Elements
Each one evokes something in me and transports me back to that time.

Note the semi-etherial quality of the video itself. Not just the content, but the the way that Low Res, DV quality diminishes quality and makes ghosts out of everything.

I think this might explain that "over-saturated yet under-saturated" quality. Like, they cranked up the saturation only for processing to wash everything out again.
CHOPPY VIDEO

Changing the frame rate to say, 12 or 16fps was a classic 90's music video move. Here are 3 examples of that:
