Film Synopsis:
Adam is bewildered on his father’s wedding day. Out of place and awash with emotions, he can’t bare the sober reality of being his father’s best man. But just as sobriety seems impossible Adam has a chance encounter that might just save him from ruin.
I was commissioned by the writer and director of this short film to produce a poster to advertise their short film's release in 2023. The client had a strong idea of how the outcome should appear with the iconography of the blood-stained, heavily used flask adorned with the film's engraved tagline. My thoughts as a designer were to lean heavily into the darker and grittier context of the film by making the flask as realistic as possible to set the tone and expectations for the audience.
I developed the modelled, textured, and rendered the flask within Blender. Additional photo editing and subsequent text placement were carried out in Photoshop.
