José Afonso dos Santos, also known as Zeca Afonso, was a portuguese singer-songwriter that played an important role in the morale of the people in the 1960s and early 70s, while the country was under a fierce fascist dictatorship. His songs are still very popular amongst the young adult generations, and this is my tribute to him, a very talented and serene man.
This project consists of a poster made entirely out of lyrics of his songs, forming his portrait.

The reason why the poster is so dark and heavy is because it shows how I feel about Zeca Afonso, the nostalgic and restful feeling behind his songs and his person amidst a depressive era on the country's history. I'll always appreciate anyone who's able to have such an impact on other people's well-being and hope, specially on hard times.
