The main objective of the project is to add aesthetic and ecological value to a practical and popular object. To obtain the expected result was taken into consideration the worry with sustainability factors and reuse of materials, like corks and certified wood. This concept was elaborated with a simple design, using straight angles with the addition of non-conventional elements to the seat (corks), creating a tactile and visual link to the act of enjoying a good drink regardless of the environment, be it sophisticated or rustic.
The name AMADIA+ refers to the third harvesting of cork, that provides the highest quality cork material, used in wine stoppers.
