theatre programme design
El Chupacabra is a theatre play based on a novel by Polish Nobel Prize winner Olga Tokarczuk. Inspired by the content of the piece, I created a theatre programme design. The main plot of the play is about a mysterious, obsessive killer who retaliates against hunters for killing animals. To show two levels of conflict, I put together graphics depicting nature and meat. I purposely focused on showing the predatory face of these two worlds, letting the recipient decide which side to opt for. In the design, I used images of meat photographed by me with a scanner and microscopic photos of plant tissues taken by Monika Stawska at the Institute of Environmental Biology at the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań.
