Spacey Jane Album Cover

Requirements: Redesign an existing album using visual emphasis to highlight typographic treatments. Design to be done in a compound color scheme, use smart objects to edit work non-destructively, apply global adjustment layers on all images, use a blur filter, and stay on a 12.375"x12.275" document. 

With the above requirements in mind, I created a hypothetical/ redesigned album cover for artist, Spacey Jane. I found their name and style to be a fun way to work with new colors and visual elements. The contrast between the yellow type and purple background stands out as the eye also makes its way to the center where the band stands together "in space."
