Found a digital style that suited me the most. Here is my journey on practicing on various models from the very first to the most recent output. 

Started with light colors and messy strokes, basically getting used to how to draw this art style.

Eventually created these two after and was intrigued with the outcome. The following outputs are based on how I created these two portraits.
