My fist illustration that was paid for | Ornarin diary

Hello everyone!

🔥 How I was looking for orders with 3d illustration, my experience. I must say that this is my first experience, the path was long and thorny, I'm kidding.
So, the funnel is next. I have sent messages to 40 different blogs with a personal appeal that I can draw 3d illustrations for their needs. 4 groups answered me, 2 of them agreed to work with a 50% prepayment. 1 person stopped contacting when discussing a task.

My expectations - no one will answer. Reality - 5% are ready to work with a novice artist. THIS IS WOW!

Conclusions:
1. Take a 50% prepayment, this protects you as an author from free works, plus shows that the customer really needs your work.
2. Write down the task in detail, what needs to be done, ask for references, schematic drawings, it's hard to guess other people's expectations.
3. Discuss at once the number of iterations of edits and their price. Otherwise, there is a chance to make a new completely different illustration for free.

I am grateful to the groups that have shown trust and agreed to cooperate, for me this is a great and very necessary experience 🤝
I made all possible mistakes, reread the conclusions and don't make the same mistakes. I share the final renderer (with the permission of the customer, of course).

Thanks for watching!
🦋 Have a nice weekend!
