Despair | Poster series
On a weekend of August 2021 I dived into the news and couldn't believe the horrible things that were (and still are) happening in Afghanistan + wildfires, flash floods and earthquakes, on top of the already ongoing humanitarian crisis, social issues, etc. around the world!
Despair and the old classic quote 'I read the news today. Oh boy' came to my mind and inspired me create some posters using typography and images that helped me to translate those feelings into graphic ideas. Also a good exercise to remove the rust after being working mostly on illustration projects in the last months 🤖
