In 2021 I was contacted by Basilur with a challenge: design the packaging for a brand new collection of premium teas. They wanted a ellegant, chic and vintage floral experience, to match the flavors of tea the had developed.

I designed the whole experience, from the size, shape and meterial of the packaging to the illustrations and tin textures and garnishes.

The main focus of the packaging are the illustrations for each tea flavour. To make it even more exclusive and special, the motifs were hand-painted with watercolors one by one, to later on be digitized, edited and assembled using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

I worked with the company marketing and design team to create the best possible outcome. Each step was sent for approval before advacing.

The final step was deciding on the final tin garnishes. We ended up choosing some embossing on the illustrations and a golden coat on some details to ephasize them.
