The city on eight hills
Besides it is a big city, Lisbon feels more like a normal village which has it's very own strong visual identity.
Here's a collection of images I captured that try to highlight some of the visual features that most inspire me about this city and the small villages close to it.
All images were shot with a Fujifilm Xpro 2 and a 35mm 1.4 fuji lens. Most were photographed under flattering 3pm sunlight to maximize separation from the background. The goal is always to do a portrait of the city as it's own character.

The streets of Evora, amuseum-city with roots dating back to roman times. Produces all kinds of things in cork, hats, shoes and wallets.
Vitória is an eagle that is the mascot of Portuguese football club S.L. Benfica. Before every Benfica match at the Estádio da Luz, it flies around the stadium and then lands on top of the club's crest (without the eagle symbol), and completing the symbol.
