history of one letter
step 1:
take your old sketches. Pick one that still doesn't seem like the ugliest of the year to you.

step 2:
use the sketch as the basis for drawing in any program (raster or vector - it doesn't matter, you're just having fun for $0). Repeat without trying to copy everything like a printer - it doesn't matter at all.
step 3:
if there are too many elements, limit yourself to the number that you can finish in an easy way, otherwise it will all stop before you can get something.
step 4:
try a couple of options, just for experimentation. You can not try if you do not want, there is no customer above you. Just relax in the process.
step 5:
remember from memory something that you recently saw and that you liked in terms of style. No need to go looking for this reference. Believe me, exactly what we need is left in your head. This will allow you to accidentally give birth to something completely different. Perhaps later you will find this reference and it will be completely different, but this is not important.
you can do this regularly and always have a base of images for a moodboard, concepts or whatever. Or you can do none of this, because this is just the story of one letter.
And yes, I still have no idea what that letter is. Looks like M...))))))
