Temasek Polytechnic School of Aviation (Focused Area)

Project Background
This project is a collaboration between Temasek Polytechnic(TP) Design school - Interior Architecture and Design (IAD) and Engine school and the Aviation Management course. With the project aiming to redesign and improve the interior spaces of Block 25A.

Design Statement
To redesign a separated central spot from the classrooms, where people are able to come together to work, play and rest.
This is done by offering variety of openings and spaces into the school, while maximizing interaction and activities within students. It enhances a comforting ambience to stay in, at the same time promoting intermingling of students.
Eventually, building a community within the School of Aviation, as well as promoting a healthy environment for the students to be in.
Openness of the interior façade is to create a transparency in the building, breaking the boundary in the school, creating more chances of interaction.
Rooftop Garden gives the student a separated space for leisure. Modular forms made the space feels softer with the different height level gives the forms more functionality with it being able to be used as seats and steps to go up.
Applications Used
