Overcoat character design is based on the main character of the story "Overcoat"  written by Ghulam Abbas. 

Our main character who we see roaming around the streets of Lahore, all suited up. Everyone noticing him from afar. After an accident that takes his life away, doctors remove his fancy "Overcoat" only to find that he's a poor man who was living a fake life.
