In my work I captured the beautiful architecture of the corridors of Melbourne University, the majestic structure that boasts of a regal aura, yet has a modern touch. The play of light and the expanse of space it throws open although narrow is far from confining and is instead welcoming to those who walk through its hallways.
For me my photograph of the interiors showcases the architectural splendour of the hallways at Melbourne University. These interiors transform everyone who walks through it to become a different person, almost giving someone his/her own identity. Interiors are no longer places that confine us but help us to evolve. While the interiors are transforming, my photograph also frames new vistas of space that the interiors throw open on the outside.
