Casa Alma Duratex is a generative art project that we carried out during Casa Cor 2021.

The idea was to make the visitors of the Duratex space generate art through their sensations as they walk through the environment created by Studio Melina Romano at Casa Cor.

Visitors received a smartwatch capable of capturing their heartbeats and physical movements. This data was then collected and sent via the internet to our system, where original artworks were generated using textures and shapes used in the space project. Then the created image was sent to each visitor's cell phone.

Over the 30 days of the event, 1.616 unique artworks were generated.
