在異地旅行或出差時,在外地的交通方式是首要面臨的問題。在交通繁雜的都市,搭乘大眾運輸是較為經濟且便捷的方式,然而我們發現,就算在大城市,相鄰的地鐵站也有1-2公里的距離,車站與目的地之間的最後一里路,除了步行,有沒有更好的方式?
BoardIn是一款行李箱結合滑板車的設計,提供出差旅行者一種新型態的行動體驗。我們透過把旋轉結構應用在滑板車的車身上,讓滑板車能以最省空間的方式與行李箱結合,隨開,隨行。

When traveling or on business trips to different places, the first challenge is often figuring out the transportation options available in the region. In cities with heavy traffic, taking public transportation is typically a more economical and convenient option. However, we have found that even in major cities, the distance between adjacent subway stations can be 1-2 kilometers. This raises the question: what is the best way to travel the last kilometer between the station and the destination? Here comes BoardIn, a design that combines a suitcase with a kickscooter, offering a new form of mobility experience for travelers.​​​​​​​

小巧的尺吋不會造成攜帶時的負擔,且扁平化的車身讓滑板車能完美融入行李箱凹槽。

特殊設計的旋轉機構可在卸下後快速展開,提供操作者簡單易用的操作體驗。

Small and lightweight
The compact size of the kickscooter makes it effortless to carry, even for long distances. Furthermore, its sleek design allows it to seamlessly fit into the designated groove of the suitcase, minimizing any additional hassle or inconvenience.
1-minute quick folding
The unique folding structure allows for quick and easy expansion, providing users with a seamless operating experience.
共用的把手設計
與行李箱共用的把手設計。接觸手的部分添加了止滑且親膚的材質讓使用者有更舒適的握持體驗。

Handle shared design
The handle of the suitcase is also the handle of the kickscooter. Being covered with Anti-slip and skin-friendly material, the grip provides users with a more comfortable holding experience.
細部的設計
滑板車上的掛鉤和側柱,增加騎乘時的方便性。

The hook and kickstand of the kickscooter provide convenience when stopping or carrying items.

Ideation
因為電池在飛航法規中的限制,我們選擇了較輕量的無動力滑行裝置來跟行李箱結合,而考量到使用上學習成本的問題,最終決定以能輕易操控的滑板車作為滑行裝置設計的雛型。
Considering aviation battery restrictions, we decided not to incorporate a motor and battery into the design of the BoardIn. Ultimately, we chose to focus on kickscooters due to their ease of use and accessibility.

Iterations

在原型測試後,我們發現使用上的一些問題,並不斷對機構及使用方式做調整優化,在最終版本的定案時,外型早已和最初的草圖相差甚遠。
After testing our initial prototype, we continuously improved the mechanism to enhance its usability, resulting in a final model that looks significantly different from the original prototype.
