The problem I solve my senior year in InDesign for this catalog was finding a layout that would make the catalog look unique. I solved this by creating boxes of where I think the images should go and how to display the descriptions and pricing as well as the names. My work process consisted of finding two fonts that would look good in the Ikea catalog, displaying the images in a way that catches readers eyes, and finding spots to put the prices. The challenge was to create an Ikea Catalog with the images provided and to learn how to use the InDesign program as we go. My design solution was using a background color to coordinate a theme color that would blend well together.
