J is for Joystick - another in my 3D Alphabet series. Illustrator, Photoshop and Dimension and Adobe Capture were used for this.

The J and vertical bars coming together in Illustrator.

This is the beginning of the joystick grip, drawn in Illustrator, then brought into Photoshop to be extruded, then into Dimension for texturing.

Here are the J parts in Photoshop, after extrusion from flat shapes.

Background image with two models, the astronaut and aircraft are Pixelsquid models. The other elements are 5 Photoshop brushes - the three graphic elements, the light trail and dust particles. Once composited, this was applied to the glass on the monitor in Dimension.
