TOKYO LOVE CLUB
Tokyo Love Club, is both a car collective and automotive accessories store, originally established under the name
“Night Crawlers” in 2018. Subsequently ’twas rebranded in 2020, to the more appropriate “Tokyo Love Club”.
The Australian club contact me to give them a fresh identity, they talked me about the philosophy of the club,
they passion for the Japanese cars and the city races. TLC were looking for a Neo Tokyo look & feel,

but with a lighthearted touch as the main premise was for the main character to be an illustration of one cat
wearing a bucket hat driving one of their Toyota MR2 Spyder under the sun of the Gold Coast.

I created a mood-board to show to the client the look & feel of the project. Also to take some decision.
The main assignment of the project was to design a hoodie for the club, a racing style hoodie, as the idea was to add prints in all its parts. For this reason I designed several pieces, between lettering and illustration. Once the designs are implemented, I would use the identity created to design different accessories and merchandising.
I also created a color variation called "Classic". Less fresh than the original, but easier to match in the racing environment.
I designed a clothing hang tag for the hoodie and the next pieces of clothes for the club and cool merchandising
(stickers and a premium key chain) to promote the car collective and, don't forget it, an automotive accessories store.
