Limited edition 1/1 NFT collection on OpenSea minted with Polygon

In October 2021, a group of 16 strangers connected online around the idea of group-purchasing 2128, "That doesn't sound too good" from artist, Damien Hirst's first NFT art collection, The Currency on HENI.com.
The objective of the project was to demonstrate the power of blockchain ownership by making the purchased artwork available to a larger community of collectors who normally wouldn't be able to afford such a piece through fractionalized ownership.
Ultimately we successfully completed a PartyBid purchase of the NFT at a price of over 12ETH with a total of 60 unique participating community contributors/owners.
Because we were purchasing a piece consisting of hundreds of colorful dots we called the community token (which was distributed to every fractional owner), $OURDOTS.

The OURDOTS OGs (ODOGs) NFTs featured here were created as a follow up collection to recognize the additional contributions of the core group of founding community members who made the original purchase which enabled the project to happen.
To create the collection, I used a VQGAN+CLIP artificial intelligence (python-based) visual generation model. I fed the original Damien Hirst artwork into the model and gave the simple prompt of "Our dots" with a style prompt of "by Damien Hirst." Each NFT was given a unique seed number from 1-16 based on the order in which they initially contributed to the project.
The result was a totally unique 1 of 1 artwork generated for each individual OG community member, all based on the original piece created by Damien Hirst.
