Sesu Wax Electrical Roll-on Kit Product Industrial Design
The target of the design was to avoid the appearance of a cool and dangerous device and to create a women care product which looks feminine, cosmetic, warm and seems easy to use.
The product is used by warming up the wax cartridge and making it ready for application. In order to avoid burning of the hands during use, the product has been provided with silicone lining and air channels between the plastic cover and the wax warming component.
There wasn’t used any auxiliary part for the LED light which stays on until the wax is warmed up to the temperature necessary for a clean and hygienic application of the wax; the thickness of the plastic mass has been reduced in certain parts providing a soft form .
In order to prevent the usage of the wax cartridges of other brands, a special profile was used for the insert area. In this way the consumer is guided to use the device only with its own cartridge, which is the best way to provide consumer safety and ideal wax application.
Since the device is used by pressing it on the skin, its slim belly form, the front and back surface protuberances and the lateral jointed surface are preventing its sliding from the hand.
Compared with the global competitors who use 50 ml cartridge, the device has the advantage of a 100 ml cartridge. Although the product has a bigger physical size, it looks elegant due to its surface -dynamics and lateral colorful antislips which prevented the bulky look of the product.
