Na maternidade, é comum para as mulheres emprestarem o discurso alheio para atenderem a expectativas que não são delas.
O nome e a ideia do projeto nasceram da expressão “lugar de fala” , que pressupõe a concepção de uma consciência de si.
Mas essas mulheres estão cientes da própria voz?
O Lugar de mãe se propõe a ser um meio de escuta, descoberta, estímulo e construção dessa individualidade, para ajudar essas mulheres a encontrar – para elas mesmas e para os outros –uma voz própria e autonomia no maternar.
As clientes me procuraram para criar uma identidade visual que materializasse toda a força e impacto que esse projeto precisava transmitir.

In motherhood, it is common for women to borrow speeches to meet expectations that are not theirs.
The name and idea of the project were born from the Brazilian portuguese expression "lugar de fala", which means having ownership of a speech*, which implicates on the idea of self-awareness.
But are these women really conscious about their own voices?

‘Lugar de mãe’ intends to be a place of listening, discovery, stimulation and construction of this individuality to help these women find – for herselves and for others – their own voice and autonomy.
The clients asked me to create one visual identity that materialized all the impact that this project needed to convey.
* In a free translation, ‘lugar de fala’ means ‘place of speech’ and ‘lugar de mãe’ means ‘mother’s place’. So, the main question is, ‘what place does this mother occupy in her own maternity in order to have property and security in her own discourse?’’
