About The Game: This is a 2d shoot'em up where you play as a space ship that is defending the earth from an invasion. As you destroy horde of enemies, they will drop buff that the player can pick up to increase their fire power. The further you get into space the higher chance you have to encounter a asteroid.
A Character selection screen was in the work for this game. As the player unlock more ship they would be able to play as them on the next restart of the game. The way you would unlock new ship is be scoring over a certain amount when you play.
The game was design with a controller in mind as the way the player would play the game, so when deciding on how to show the controls for the game. I went with a picture of an Xbox controller with the basic control the player would need.
here am showing some gameplay of the game, some early UI ideas and how the buff would drop and stay on the field for player to collect. At this time the buff didn't move, so player would have to go to the buff drop location to get it.
